2018 Sunshine List – Windsor Essex Public Salary Disclosures

City of Windsor 2019 Public Salary Disclosure (for 2018 compensation)– The report discloses amounts paid as salary and as taxable benefits to those employees who earned more than $100,000 in 2018. It should be noted however, that in many cases the amounts include such one-time payment items as acting pay, overtime, retroactive payments, adjustments required by pay equity legislation, and/or settlements that do not form part of the normal ongoing base salary of employees. More specifically, in 2018 there was one multi-year contract and one salary market review settled, which resulted in one-time retroactive payments to a large number of employees covering a number of past years.

Greater Essex County District School Board List– On January 29, 1996, the Ontario Legislature passed the Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act. The Act requires Ontario’s broader public sector organizations to disclose annually: the names; positions; salaries and taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more a year.

Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare Public Salary Disclosure List– Published annually by the Government of Ontario since 1997, the Public Sector Salary Disclosure provides taxpayers with the names and positions of those in the public sector who earned more than $100,000 in salary and benefits during the previous taxation year. The $100,000 threshold for disclosure has not been adjusted for inflation in the past 20 years.

University of Windsor Public Salary Disclosure List– In accordance with the Ontario Public Salary Disclosure Act, 1996, the University of Windsor is releasing the University of Windsor document listing all employees who earned in excess of $100,000 in salary and taxable benefits for the 2018 calendar year.

Windsor Regional Hospital Salary Disclosure List– In accordance with the Ontario Public Salary Disclosure Act, 1996, Windsor Regional Hospital released its list of all employees who earned in excess of $100,000 in salary and their taxable benefits for the 2018 calendar year.

Salaries for both non-union and those represented by a union have been based on surveys of comparable hospitals in order to determine an appropriate and fair compensation based on their responsibilities at WRH.
