Introducing The YQG Swap Shoppe And Special August 12 Event
Are you looking to revamp your wardrobe without breaking the bank? We have just the solution for you! The YQG Swap Shoppe offers an exciting opportunity to swap your gently used clothing items for new-to-you pieces, all while supporting a great cause.
How does it work? It’s simple! All you need to do is donate a minimum of 5 (with a maximum of 10) gently used clothing items. These items should be in good condition, with no tears or stains. To arrange for the pickup of your donations, please email [email protected].
Once you’ve made your donations, mark your calendars for August 12, when the “Shop the Swap” event will take place. Visit Pure Mentality Mental Wellness Boutique at 871 Ottawa St from 10 am to 11:30 am to browse a selection of pre-loved clothing items. As a donor, you can choose any 5 pieces of clothing absolutely free! If you find more items you love, each additional piece will cost just $5.
But the fun doesn’t end there! From noon to 2 pm, the YQG Swap Shoppe opens its doors to the entire community. This is your chance to shop for the remaining items at an affordable price. Each item will be available for $5, offering incredible value for fashionable finds. Any remaining items at the end of the day will be donated to the Women’s shelter to support those in need.
Organizers say 50% of all proceeds generated during the YQG Swap Shoppe event will be donated to Pure Mentality. This organization provides vital mental health services and resources to members of our YQG community. Your participation helps you find stylish new additions to your wardrobe and contributes to the well-being of others in our city.
In addition to clothing donations, we are also accepting contributions of clothing hangers and paper bags to assist with organizing and packaging the donated items.
