THE HOSPICE 2025 FACE TO FACE CAMPAIGN HIGHLIGHTS THE ENORMOUS GENEROSITY OF OUR COMMUNITY WITH $103,692 RAISED IN SUPPORT OF QUALITY CARE AND MEMORABLE MOMENTS FOR HOSPICE PATIENTS AND FAMILIES
The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County officially concluded the 23rd annual Face to Face Campaign on September 30, and this year the total raised was an amazing and generous $103,692.00!
Over the last twenty-three years of the campaign, over 1.8 million dollars has been raised, with funds staying right here in our community, and directly supporting our friends and loved ones. Face to Face has supported our Fairley Family Transportation, providing much needed rides to medical appointments and programs. As of 2022, the campaign now also supports Hospice in granting exceptional and impactful experiences to patients and their families through the G.E.N.I.E. Transportation Program.
“From the very beginning, the Face to Face Campaign has been rooted in a simple, but powerful idea – that a community coming together, one $10 gift at a time, can make a remarkable difference. Now in its 23rd year, our family stands with deep humility and gratitude for how Windsor-Essex continues to embrace and support the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County through this campaign. Thank you to every individual, family, organization, and company who contributed this year, and to the incredible staff and volunteers at Hospice who are always there when needed most. Your generosity truly drives the Fairley Family Transportation Program and the compassionate care it provides.” – John Fairley, Founder of the Hospice Face to Face Campaign
“Every year, compassionate canvassers, sponsors, and champions come together with a shared commitment to the Face to Face Campaign and to the patients and families it supports,” said Executive Director, Katharen Bortolin. “John, his family, and our generous community continue to show their belief in Hospice’s mission. It is because of your dedication and generosity, we’re able to provide specialized, wrap-around care when it’s needed most. We are truly and deeply grateful for your continued support.”
The Hospice Face to Face Campaign runs annually from August 15 to September 30, and in 23 years has raised over $1.8 million dollars for Hospice.
