Funding applications for the May Court Club of Windsor grant are now available to organizations that support child/youth mental or physical health. Their dedicated team is proud and pleased to be able to offer funding to organizations in the Windsor and Essex County area through an application process. Their mission is simple: to support organizations in our community that focus on children’s mental and physical health. They want frontline workers to continue to use their expertise to make a difference for all children and youth. Last year, over $50,000 was donated to child and youth programs in our area! President Sharon Pyke notes: “The process of accepting applications from organizations that work with children and then being able to grant them funding is one of the most gratifying things that we do as a club. Our members are incredibly dedicated to raising these monies to make a positive difference in our community. We encourage organizations to review our website to apply for these hard-earned funds.” The funding application is located online. Completed applications (with a deadline of April 15, 2024)can be submitted using the button on the website, or by emailing: [email protected]. The May Court Club of Windsor is celebrating its 90th year of serving the community and is a registered charitable organization. Revenue is generated by hosting unique fundraising events and by offering gently used (and sometimes new) clothing, shoes, and housewares, at the May Court Club Shoppe, 1122 Wyandotte Street East in Windsor. Its members and volunteers kindly donate their time and talents. The May Court Club of Windsor is also the 2023 Biz X Award winner for Exceptional Social Enterprise.
