Windsor Singers Putting Their Best Voice Forward to Front Grammy Award Winning, Stone Temple Pilots.

With over 10,000+ submissions on their website in just 2 weeks, local artists are giving it their all for a chance to hit the stage with the Grammy Award Winning (1994) STONE TEMPLE PILOTS (STP) as they hold a contest to find their new lead singer.

Social media is flooded with Windsor’s own talent taking on the rest of the world to replace former front men Scott Weiland (1989-2002, 2008-2013, died 2015) and Chester Bennington (2013-2015).  Current and founding member of STP Dean DeLeo says “We wanted to go wide.  We know there are many talented people out there who’d never get an opportunity like this”.

Taking full advantage of this opportunity are singers David Michael, Rick LaBonte, Mark DeBlock, Ted Lamont, Stevie B and Jamie Reaume. Each artist has independently submitted their work to STP for consideration before the deadline hit earlier this week.

Prospect David Michael, who has worked with artists such as Madonna, Michael Jackson and Prince says “Music is my life and always will be.  I’ve spent 30 years focusing on the highest achievements possible, no reason to stop now.  One should never stop working towards their dreams.”

With Dean DeLeo (STP) quoted as saying “We have 8 songs tracked and we’d like to get right to work” this is sure to be the ride of a lifetime for one lucky singer…hopefully from Windsor!
