Biz X Was There – Grand Opening of the all new Augustus 27!
Windsor’s premier destination for memorable weddings, social and corporate events, Augustus 27, celebrated its dramatic grand opening on November 22, 2016.
Where ultra-modern meets industrial chic and guests are greeted with luxury, Augustus 27, on the top floor of Caesars Windsor Resort, is meticulously crafted and flawlessly designed. Augustus 27 boasts of hand-rubbed leather accents, concrete flooring with textured suede, steel paneled walls and dramatic tiered lighting that give a feel of richness, matched only by the view over the Detroit skyline and waterfront.
Caesars Windsor is proud to bring on local partners from the Windsor area to complete this project; including local designer Helena Ventrella and TCI Titan Group. The renovation began in August with a quick transformation from an empty space to luxurious venue in three months.
Kevin Laforet, Regional President, Caesars Entertainment states “This world-class amenity gives us yet another offering for our valued customers and an opportunity to ensure Caesars Windsor remains a premier destination for tourism, special events, and entertainment.”
Guests, including local dignitaries, partners, industry professionals and members of the media, were treated to decadent hors d’oeuvres and wine tastings, as well as live music from Stiletto Fire as guests toured the room and took in the breathtaking panoramic view.
Augustus 27 will feature outstanding personalized menu selections seamlessly served using the finest ingredients. Designed and crafted by Executive Chef Patrick McClary, these iconic dishes will take culinary extravagance to the next level.
“We are an exceptional community, known for achieving far beyond expectations and Augustus 27 demonstrates this belief,” says Matt Marchand, President & CEO of Windsor Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce. “This first class facility will not only attract tourism, conferences, and special events but will showcase our community in the highest light.”
The room can accommodate up to 250 people with modern sophistication, richly coloured porcelain wall tiles and controlled lighting that captures the exposed infrastructure and accentuates the height of the tallest building in the City of Windsor.
