Local Code Ninjas Celebrates First Black Belt Ninja By Hiring Him
Recent years have involved new learning styles and changes around every corner when it comes to interacting with technology, many students could not wait to get off their computers after a long day at school, but Noah Bradatanu was not one of them. Computers have been an interest of Noah’s from a young age and transitioning to online learning was simply a natural progression to doing something he loved. Then, once the school day was done, he would head over to Code Ninjas to either work on the code in his newly created video game or volunteer in helping other like-minded students achieve the same success.
“Noah has been a great asset to the centre from day one,” exclaims Dawn Daignault, a Director at Code Ninjas Windsor. “Our Dojo is always a fun an vibrant space, thanks to students like Noah who are here to encourage others on in their work. The fact that Noah demonstrated his abilities on the dojo floor through not only his programming talents, but as he worked towards receiving his high school volunteer hours, made it an easy decision to hire him on as a Sensei (teacher). There was very little training needed since he was already well versed in the work we do”.

Code Ninjas give our youth the opportunity to bring their unique skills and technological talents to the table to solve problems, as they learn five different coding languages through this process. It’s a place where kids have fun and parents get to see the results that pay off as their young ones learn the literacy of the future. Noah’s parents have certainly seen the results, they’ve celebrated his progression from ninja, to volunteer, to summer employment and now a permanent Code Ninjas Sensei (teacher). Well,
permanent at least until he is scooped up by all the tech giants that are anticipated to be knocking on his door as soon as he finishes school.
Of course there are other ninjas not far behind Noah who are sure to follow in his footsteps with the completion of their games in the near future. However, Noah is a trailblazer in the dojo. He has been a part of the Ninja family since opening day, and the first to complete the program as a Black Belt Ninja here in Windsor. In fact, Code Ninjas Windsor was the first Code Ninjas location to open in Canada. We’re confident that Noah will continue to make history as he moves ahead equipped with his well-developed coding skills. Noah and about fifty other Black Belt Ninjas from across the world are profiled on the exclusive website.
All kids, regardless of coding experience, can easily join the Code Ninjas family. If your child is inspired by computers and gaming, but has never coded, they’re invited to join one of our free game-building sessions to check out the centre and what Code Ninjas is all about. Code Ninjas offers unique educational opportunities, geared toward teaching children computer programming through its engaging, game-based nine belt curriculum, much like a martial arts program. Working with kids ages 5-14, Code Ninjas capitalizes on kids’ love of video games, technology and play by introducing complex concepts through hands-on learning. Programs include a variety of structures and timeframes, from PD Day events, birthday parties, and week-long camps, to monthly subscriptions.
We will celebrate Noah’s accomplishments with a public open house on Saturday, April 1st, 2023 at 10am to 2pm. During this event, we will welcome existing and prospective ninjas and their families to come into our centre and learn all about Code Ninjas and Noah’s journey. Light refreshments will be served.
Founded in 2016, Code Ninjas is the world’s largest and fastest-growing kids coding franchise, and is headquartered in Houston, Texas. In hundreds of Code Ninjas centers, kids ages 5-14 have fun building video games while gaining life-changing skills in coding, robotics, and problem solving. Kids have fun, parents see results.
