Downtown Windsor Merchants Team up with Ontario Early Years Centre to present Day of Spooktacular Fun
The Downtown Windsor BIA is again teaming with the staff from the Ontario Early Years Centre- Glengarry location, to present a day of spooktacular fun. On Tuesday October 31, the Ontario Early Years Centre will introduce newcomer families to the custom of “trick-or-treating” by going door-to-door to merchants located on Pelissier Street between Wyandotte and Chatham Streets.
The event takes place in the morning between 10am and 2pm, engaging 70+ children between the ages of 0-6 years. Participating downtown establishments include:

“This is a fun and exciting outreach initiative and we’re thrilled that the merchants are participating again this year,” said DWBIA Chair Larry Horwitz. “It allows the children to explore their creativity and unites downtown businesses with the community.”
“This event creates and promotes community involvement, neighbourhood pride and engagement through supporting and connecting residents to their local community,” added Jenny Pattison, Facilitator at the Glengarry Ontario Early Years Centre.
Ontario Early Years Centres provide literacy based programming allowing parents and caregivers to attend with their children; enhance parenting skills; attend workshops; learn alongside and have fun with their children.
