Erie Shores Health Foundation Executive Director recognized for Top Forty Under 40 Award

Christine Colautti, the Executive Director for the ESHF, is one of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) 2020 Top Forty Under 40 Award recipients.

The Top Forty Under 40 award is designed to recognize leaders within the health care philanthropy sector across North America. AHP is honoring these 40 professionals because of their ability to shape the future of the health care development industry.

‘These award honorees are part of a select group of health care philanthropy professionals who have demonstrated impressive career achievements, deep community involvement and display executive leadership in our profession,’ said Alice Ayres, AHP President & CEO.

Applications are accepted each year from across North America, and Christine is one of seven Canadians among the 40 selected to be honored. Due to COVID 19, Christine will receive her award next year in Boston, MA during the AHP International Conference.

‘This is fantastic news, and is a very well deserved honor for Christine, our Foundation, donors and community.’ Gary Toupin, ESHF Board Chair.

”I am extremely grateful and proud to be the recipient of this award and represent both the Erie Shores Health Foundation and the Essex County community on an international level.” – Christine Colautti, Executive Director, ESHF

Founded in 1992, the Erie Shores Health Foundation raises funds for Erie Shores HealthCare and The Hospice Erie Shores Campus in Essex County. Since the Ministry of Health does not fund the total costs for the Hospital and Hospice, the Foundation works to ensure funding needs are met by raising awareness and support from community donations.

‘On behalf of Erie Shores HealthCare, I wish to extend our sincere congratulations to Christine on this impressive accomplishment. We feel very fortunate to have Christine and her team leading our Foundation.’ Dr. Ross Moncur, Interim CEO, ESHC.

‘We would like to send our warmest congratulations to Christine on this achievement; what a proud accomplishment for both her and the community,” Colleen Reaume, Executive Director, The Hospice of Windsor & Essex County.
