Get Your Hat On For Healthcare!
Hats On For Healthcare, a registered trademark event of Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation started eight years ago as an idea within the fundraising sector as a different and unique way to raise funds for Windsor Regional Hospital.
Chaired since its inception by Harvey and Elaine Snaden, they felt it was a fun and visual way of reaching an audience whom would not necessarily think of giving in the Hats On For Healthcare method.
A simple toonie gives one the privilege to place a hat on one’s head for a day. This year that date is March 1, 2017. By participating you help bring awareness to the need to support important programs and services at Windsor Regional Hospital.
Since beginning in 2008, Hats On For Healthcare has generated over $150,000 for services such as mental health, surgical, medicine and rehabilitation.
Who participates in Hats On For Healthcare? Well, almost everyone in the community! From financial institutions, the university and college, service clubs, businesses, municipalities, retail and individuals to name a few, they with others make it an event at their respective locations.
To participate, visit online and obtain a kit that assists in organizing your staff, resulting in each location raising funds collectively.
Every kind of hat has been worn by Hats On For Healthcare participants and each year, yet another different, unusual and entertaining hat will surface on the head of a willing supporter.
It’s a easy way to have fun for only a toonie. Support Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation’s Hats On For Healthcare March 1, 2017!
