In May, the AGW’s Lightning Talks with Community Creators will be showcasing creative entrepreneurs from EPICentre at the University of Windsor! Attendees can tune in via Zoom on Thursday May 27, 2021 at 7 p.m. as the AGW features Adrian Deschamps, Shane Trowbridge, and Jordan Bonneau from Half Step Away, which is a social enterprise corporation that provides a personalized approach to music training, as well as products and services which facilitate the creativity and artistic growth and development in people of all abilities.

The event also features Caita Clemerson from Stitch Happens: a fabric store and sewing studio located in the Walkerville area, teaching garment sewing classes to students of all levels, along with a retail section of all your fabric and sewing needs.

Nia Thompson from Lyric Symone + Co, a jewellery platform for the modern woman, and Grow + Flourish, a brand that provides platforms for small businesses, will also be presenting at the event.

Last but not least, the event will also be featuring Lincoln Savi from Savi Made, a small business that produces realistic animal models for research, education, and display.

Each entrepreneur listed will give attendees a lightning-fast overview of their work, and provide the unique paths that led them to their creative careers.

After the event a Q&A period follows for the audience, and it is completely free to attend.
