MONSTERVERSE KING GHIDORAH IS HEADED TO WINDSOR!
Brimstone Games presents the Northern National Collectors’ Convention featuring the Cartoon Kingdom Fan Experience has announced that Richard Dorton and Alan Maxson will make their first-ever Canadian convention appearance this fall in Windsor, Ontario at Caesars Windsor, September 29-October 1, 2023.
Dorton and Maxson are best known for their combined portrayal of the MonsterVerse King Ghidorah who appeared in Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019). Their motion capture work as the kaiju character and Godzilla’s main protagonist thrilled fans worldwide.
“We look forward to heading to Canada this fall,” says Maxson,” and we are excited to meet with fans during our first Canadian convention appearance!”
Dorton is the world’s best motion capture actor in video games, playing many iconic characters in Star Wars, God of War, Resident Evil, Halo, Uncharted, Left 4 Dead, and Call of Duty. He even provided motion capture acts for a variety of heroes and villains in films, including Iron Man (2008), Avatar (2009), Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins (2021), and Free Guy (2021). Maxson has played titular Ghostface in Scream: Vermillion Lake (2020), Krull in Xanadu Hellfire (2022), and Demon in Eli Roth Presents: The Legion of Exorcists (2023). His upcoming project as Rocksteady in Ninja Turtles: Blood Brothers is currently in production.
Dorton and Maxson will appear at the show all three days, selling autographs, photographs, and a special
MonsterVerse Godzilla VIP experience that will be revealed to the public this fall. Although colleague and MonsterVerse Godzilla cast member Jason Liles cannot attend this event, fans can secure his autograph at the Coolwaters’ booth in the autograph pavilion to complete their King Ghidorah set.
