Biz X Was There – Motor City Community Credit Union Opens New Branch Office
On Monday September 16, 2024 the Motor City Community Credit Union (MCCCU) opened its doors to its members at their new 1365 Walker Road location.
The location establishes a new Southeast cornerstone in the Walkerville area and welcomes its members and local residents to visit us and learn why MCCCU should be their financial institution of choice.
Whereas the September opening was low key, on Thursday Oct 17, 2024 in the early evening hours a ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening party took place, with refreshments and hors d’oeuvres.
The photography and video team of Biz X magazine were there to bring you back this report!
Local suppliers on the project include: Wincon Construction, Windsor Poirier and Sfera Architectural Associates Inc. Signage work was completed by FASTSIGNS of Windsor.
In this era where the financial service industry is shrinking its staff and brick and mortar footprint, MCCCU, a local 85+ year financial services provider is offering its members and the community a brand new modern facility with traditional banking complementing electronic and mobile banking options. Wealth management needs and advice are serviced on our main floor as well.
For residents in the community who miss speaking to a teller face to face, or want personal financial advice, you are welcome visit the new facility during regular hours to experience their exceptional customer service. As for small business and commercial business needs, whether its transactional, borrowing or deposit based, please note the centre is on the second floor.
For now, check out the accompanying photos by Tina Huynh in the photo gallery below. As well you can see video footage of the new location and interviews by Mike Chase of Windsor Aerial Drone Photography by clicking here.
But that’s not all our coverage! Do not miss the November/December issue of Biz X magazine, out mid November and available then on the home page of the Biz X website to read a full article by Rick Onslow on the success of the Motor City Community Credit Union.
