New Rotary Club Of Windsor President & Board Of Directors

In early July the Monday Club and Tuesday Satellite Club came together on zoom to witness the Induction of President Gerry Pocock and the 2020-2021 board by DG Noel W. Jackson DDS -Jackson DDS Dental Design Studio!

Gerry hopes to continue to steer the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) through this terrible pandemic. Taking the reins from Gord Faas, who has laid a great foundation to continue to propel the club forward and come out the other stronger and more dynamic.

Under Gerry’s leadership, the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) will continue to support service projects where they are able. One of the most important things Gerry can do is to keep the club fluid, with the ability to adapt and adjust according to the needs of the community and its members.

“Trying times often create opportunities to be better than we were before.” The welfare of its members is very important to him.

Gerry has held various leadership positions within the Windsor Police Service. He knows the key to effective leadership is intertwined with good communication skills, strategic planning, cooperation and the like. He also believes in the power of youth and he hopes to bring the Young Rotary Leaders to the forefront. They are our future.

“While I might be sitting at the head of the table for the next year, I will ensure everyone gets a chance to express their views and opinions,” says Pocock.

This year his presidency is in honour of business man Ian Henderson.

Congratulations to Club President, Gerry Pocock and the 2020-2021 Board of Directors.
