Noah’s House Charity Gala May 2023

The team at Noah’s House Mental Health Foundation Inc. recently hosted its second annual charity gala event at St. Clair College Centre for the Arts with a Roaring Twenties theme.

Over 150 guests were in attendance at the May 6, 2023 event and enjoyed a reception hour with hors d’oeuvres and a dinner with rigatoni, chicken with mushroom marsala, beef striploin with mushroom jus, rosemary smashed red potatoes and honey glazed carrots. The dessert served was grand marnier creme brulee. Speeches, raffles, a 50/50 draw and special performances were also included.

Noah’s House is a youth mental health foundation that provides FREE mental health services and FREE one-on-one counselling to youth ages 11 to 25 in Windsor and Essex County. They aim to empower and inspire individuals to break free from the chains of mental illness!

“On behalf of Noah’s House, I would like to thank everyone who attended and supported our Roaring Twenties Charity Gala on May 6, 2023,” expresses Laura Starling, RDMS, President and CEO of Noah’s House and Fight for Life. “A special thank you to all the sponsors who made this night successful, including Kim Owens, who kept us entertained all evening. Our Master of Ceremonies, Kyle Horner and Ty Lawrence (Chief Operating Officer) and guest speakers Frank Renaud, Brady Leavold and Melanie Pozzobon shared their stories with everyone.”

Starling also thanked Biz X magazine for capturing all the night’s special moments and all who supported the gala.

“With your generous giving, the event raised funds for the counselling program, which ensures all youth and young adults in Windsor and Essex County continue to receive FREE mental health services,” she states. “Noah’s House could not do what it does without the generous support of a caring community.”
