Annual Pat on the Back Awards Offer Funding for Windsor-Essex Environmental Projects

The Windsor Essex County Environment Committee is excited to announce the return of the “Pat on the Back Awards.”blank

Four $500 awards will be given out to small, local organizations that foster sustainability in our community. Examples of eligible project themes include school greening; environmental education or advocacy; community gardens; re-use, recycling or composting; native plant gardens; community cleanups; environmental art, etc.

The deadline to apply is 4:00pm on Friday May 19, 2017. The awards will be presented on Thursday, June 1 from 7-9pm at the Ojibway Nature Centre.
