Relay For Life 2018 is only a week away!
The Canadian Cancer Society is inviting you to join them at our annual Relay for Life event at Colasanti’s on June 8.
Last year our community champion, Alex Archer, was unable to attend the event due to the disease. This year, Alex’s father Scott, tells us that Alex is “back at school full time…playing travel hockey, basketball, volleyball, badminton, track and field and soccer. He is a very busy and very active boy. Just a little bit of proof that… with all the fundraisers that we do for the Canadian Cancer Society… it is working. So, keep up the great work! The Archer Family greatly appreciates it.”
Relay For Life is more than a fundraising event, it is a powerful and moving experience that supports, honours and celebrates anyone who has been affected by the words “you have cancer.”
Monies raised through Relay For Life support the most promising cancer research and vital support services for people living with cancer.
Relay For Life Windsor-Essex takes place at Colasanti’s Tropical Gardens on June 8-9 from 7pm-7am. Walk the track, enjoy live music, take part in trackside activities, celebrate survivors and remember those we have lost. More information can be found at relayforlife.ca/essexcounty
Organizers hope you will join them on June 8 at Colasantis in the east parking lot. Opening ceremonies begin at 7pm.
