Biz X Was There – 15th Annual St. Peter’s Festival 2018
Large crowds of people came together on Friday June 29 th at St. Peters Parish, 166 Tecumseh Rd West, Windsor, to celebrate the Patron St. Peter and Canada Day. “Together in hope and Peace” is the message the congregation spread throughout the evenings events. The festival opens its doors today at 2 pm to 1 am and Sunday July 1st from noon until 11pm.
There is something to do there for everyone of all ages. For children, they can enjoy the jumpy castles and battery operated ride on trucks/jeeps and the many fun kids games and activities.
There will be a variety of performances put on by dance groups, folkfore dancers, arabici sngers and a DJ and the Hospice Jam Band throughout the entire weekend. Authentic Lebanese food is prepared and served up by volunteers from the St. Peters membership. You must purchased food & drink tickets at the door.
You will find, to your pleasure, sajzatar & labne, falafels, chicken tawook, shawarma, fattoush, tabbouli and hummus. Admission is FREE to this event all weekend long. For more information please visit online.
