Summer Fest 2017 is off to a Fabulous Start!

A record number of advanced tickets were sold this year, and opening weekend saw fabulous crowds.

Weekend Two gets off to a quick start on Friday with The Canadian Tire Kidz Zone featuring lots of free activities Saturday and Sunday from 1-5pm.

On the stage this weekend we have Tim Burr on Friday and Saturday and everybody’s favourite pyromaniac the Fire guy on Sunday and on Monday Fireworks Night he has 4 shows starting at
6pm and running till 9pm.

The 41st Annual International Tug Boat Race takes place Saturday at 1pm with the finish line and shore party moved this year to the Battagello Walkway-just east of the Big Flag.

The stage will be filled with lots of free entertainment including TC’Z Dance Studio, Ardan Dance Academy, Tatry Song and Dance, Emerald Isle Dancers, and so much more.

Tickets for the Windsor Riverfront Fireworks Party are almost gone, with a crowd of close to 200 guests will enjoy a fabulous evening of dinner, entertainment and one of the best pyrotechnic
shows in North America.

World’s Finest Shows midway runs weekdays from 4pm-11 and weekend from 12 till 11pm.

Deborah Jones and her team at Biz X Magazine work so incredibly hard to produce each issue and their November / December Awards 2024 issue is fantastic! So happy to see that Erie Street Woodworks won in their Woodworking Wonders category. There were 196 nominees this year and I have no idea how Deborah and the team of judges were able to choose between all of the talented nominees.

Deborah and the Biz X team are not only a group of people who work together, they are the spirit of Windsor's community, business essence and bringing social awareness. As a new member of this beautiful city, it was through Biz X magazine that I learned who is who and where is where. I attended their 25th Anniversary Gala in 2022 and what a fantastic evening. Everything, from the sparkling decor, glam photos, entertainment, guest speakers and our own Windsor fire department fundraising for Sparky's Toy Drive, was a true celebration.
