Tunnel Bus Woodward Avenue Closure in Detroit

The City of Detroit will be creating a pedestrian only esplanade on Woodward between Larned and Jefferson. As a result of this Woodward will be permanently closed effective Friday, June 9, 2017. This closure will result in the bus stop on Woodward at Congress to be relocated to Griswold and Larned (already an existing stop). The following new routing will be in effect for the Tunnel Bus.

Left on Beaubien
Left on Congress
Left on Griswold
Right on Jefferson
