GL Heritage Brewing Co. Welcomes Amherstburg’s Newest Food Truck, The Oven Door
GL Heritage Brewing Company has continues its tradition of supporting and showcasing local businesses by welcoming Amherstburg’s newest mobile food venture, The Oven Door Food Truck, to the brewery on August 22 to 24, 2025.
Owned and operated by hometown resident Christopher Garbutt, The Oven Door Food Truck brings a fresh new flavour to the community with a simple yet creative menu of smashed burgers, chicken burgers, hand-cut fries, and weekly specials.

The Oven Door Food Truck will be serving at GL Heritage Brewing Co., 8728 Howard Avenue, Amherstburg during the following hours:
Friday: 3-9 PM
Saturday: Noon-8 PM
Sunday: Noon-5 PM
To celebrate this exciting new partnership, GL Heritage is hosting live music on the patio from Amherstburg’s own:
Friday, 5:30- 8:30 PM: Adam Butcher
Sunday, 1-4 PM: Gregg Steiner
Guests can enjoy incredible food from The Oven Door Food Truck, paired with GL Heritage’s craft beer and hard seltzer, as well as a local wine offering. Visitors are encouraged to relax on the brewery’s expansive patio and grassland, enjoy a few rounds of cornhole, and soak in the welcoming, small-town atmosphere. GL Heritage is proud to be family-friendly and pet-friendly (on leash, please).

Desjardins-Grondin will continue to support all entrepreneurs and this will be the first weekend of many that The Oven Door Food Truck will be located at the brewery. Food vendors will rotate so the food available at the brewery will offer a great selection to customers, but also the brewery owners can support as many small businesses as possible.
GL Heritage Brewing Company is Amherstburg’s only craft brewery, proudly family-owned and operated. Since 2017, the brewery has been dedicated to celebrating community, heritage, and hospitality. Each weekend, GL Heritage partners with local food vendors to offer a complete experience of great craft beer, hard seltzer, local wine, and food, while hosting community events and live entertainment throughout the year.
