The Windsor International Film Festival (WIFF) is looking for Junior Programmers!
WIFF 2017 Junior Programmers will take part in choosing and highlighting films for other teens at this year’s festival.
Junior Programmers will recommend films and write reviews of their top WIFF 2017 picks. These picks will be published on WIFF’s website as well as noted in the WIFF program.
“With our Junior Programmers initiative, WIFF is committed to film education and developing our audience of current, and future, movie lovers,” comments WIFF Executive Director, Vincent Georgie. “It is important to create quality, unique mentorship opportunities for youth and the chance to shadow and have input with WIFF’s programming team is certainly a cool experience.”
As part of the Programming team, Junior Programmers will receive 2 tickets to the opening night film and party, 2 tickets to the closing night film, as well as one visit for two, to Virtual Reality programming during the festival.
How to enter to become a Junior Programmer: Please send your name, age, the name of one of your favourite films, and a mini review of the film (100-250 words), explaining why it’s great, to WIFFjrprogrammers@gmail.com by August 20, 2017.
WIFF will select 2 Junior Programmers, ages 12-14 and 2 Junior Programmers ages 15-17.
