WILLIAMS FOOD EQUIPMENT’S KNIFE SHARPENING CAMPAIGN RAISES FUNDS FOR ALZHEIMER SOCIETY OF WINDSOR & ESSEX COUNTY

Williams Food Equipment has announced that in February 2024, all funds generated from its knife and scissor sharpening services will be donated to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor.

This initiative underscores the company’s commitment to supporting local community organizations. The cost for the services is $2.50 per blade and $4.50 for a pair of scissors.

“When we partner with other businesses and organizations, we can do more together, and this is a perfect example of that. We are so grateful to Williams Food Equipment for the opportunity to raise funds to support our programs and services, ” says Merissa Mills, Community Engagement and Volunteer Coordinator at the Alzheimer Society of Windsor and Essex County.

Throughout 2023, Williams Food Equipment’s knife sharpening campaign raised over $6,000- benefiting various Windsor-Essex local not-for-profits. This contribution reflects the company’s dedication to giving back to the local community by supporting organizations that support our local community.

Williams Food Equipment’s commitment to community support extends beyond its products and services. The company donated 100% of the proceeds from knife sharpening services at its Ambassador Drive location starting in August 2023, garnering significant support from the local community.

“We are delighted to direct our knife-sharpening efforts toward supporting the Alzheimer Society of Windsor and its local initiatives. This initiative exemplifies our ongoing commitment to fostering a supportive community,” says Candice-Rose Gagnon, Special Projects Manager for Williams Food Equipment.
