Windsor Classic Chorale, June 2021 Virtual Concert

The Windsor Classic Chorale (WCC) made the necessary transition, in 2020, to a completely virtual format for its season and is presenting its second virtual concert, “Awakening,” on June 4, 2021 via YouTube and Facebook.

As Windsor’s premier chamber choir, the WCC has become a core component of the local arts community, dedicated to achieving artistic excellence by maintaining a high level of musicianship with a rich palette of ambitious choral works.

Despite the challenges faced as a result of the pandemic, the WCC has interpreted this period as a time of growth and rebirth.

The concert serves as a reflection of this period of challenge and growth — for the WCC and its community — through some uplifting music and beautiful imagery from nature.

The WCC considers it a privilege to perform in this community. Their love for choral music and the belief that it expresses the deepest parts of our humanity is what brings them together. Furthermore, they believe in using music to connect with each other and with the community. Although they are not able to have audiences hear them in person, this transition to a virtual format is providing the WCC with the opportunity to extend its performances to audiences beyond Windsor and Essex County.
