Windsor Women in Business Expo – Local Female Entrepreneurs At Work!

The first “Windsor Women in Business Expo” took place at the Windsor Yacht Club on June 1 and was a fantastic evening of networking with plenty of new connections and business leads generated on a beautiful sunny evening. As well, $256 was raised to be donated to the Windsor Hiatus House!

The expo showcased over 40 female entrepreneurs and their businesses for public enjoyment. Many vendors discussed their services and sold their products on site (jewellery, purses, makeup items, artwork, books and more): including…

Natalie Hartleib of Investors Group, along with Laura Weavers, Food and Beverage Manager at Windsor Yacht Club created this event for the Windsor Women in Business group and are already looking forward to the next event.

Admittance was free and guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres sponsored by some of the businesses and were able to win some amazing prizes. Dr. Dianne Miskus of Optimal Chiropractic & Wellness Centre won 2 VIP tickets to Biz X magazine’s “We Will Rock Blue” (photo below). The first 50 guests at the Expo received gift bags filled with special offers and samples.
