WIRELESS WAREHOUSE TO JOIN RECYCLING FOR CHARITY

Local mobile repair staple Wireless Warehouse has teamed up with Recycling for Charity – an organization dedicated to minimizing and eradicating e-waste pollution. Starting February 12, 2018, Smartphone and Tablet recycling drop boxes will be available at all Wireless Warehouse Repair Centres in Ontario. This partnership is in line with their new Screen-to-Green initiative; making it easier for patrons to recycle their old and used mobile devices.

When asked about the reason for the partnership, Sam Maktabi, CEO of Wireless Warehouse responded, “For the 12 years that we’ve had the stores open, we have seen the amount of e-waste that is created when old devices are discarded haphazardly. With the recent destruction due to global warming, my team and I have decided that we cannot stand idly and watch”.

Currently, there are 5 Wireless Warehouse Locations: Windsor, Lakeshore, London, Toronto, and Thunder Bay. Visit online for more information about the store location or their operating hours.
