September 2023 Mingle For Maryvale Raises Over $25,000 On Friday September 8, 2023 Stigma Enigma held a Mingle For Maryvale fundraising event at St. Angela’s Hall, 750 Erie Street East in Windsor.
All proceeds support Maryvale Adolescent and Family Services, which is a children’s mental health treatment centre. The money raised goes to aiding Maryvale in hiring councillors that will help to reduce their waiting lists, so that more youths from our community can receive help quicker.

The event was a five-course gourmet dinner prepared by Spago, followed by “The Hot Keys Duelling Pianos”. Guests gave monetary donations along with choosing a tune for the duo to bang out on their
pianos.
Together, the 129 attendees raised approximately $25,000 that evening with proceeds still trickling in.
St. Clair College and St. Clair College Alumni, Tim Hortons, Steimar Bakery, The Hot Keys, Motor City Credit Union, and Spago were all sponsors of this event.
Stigma Enigma is a volunteer-driven group made up of members of our community that are dedicated to raising and increasing awareness in dealing with mental illness.
Dr. Patrick Smith began the group in 2013 when suicide affected not only patients from his office, but also members of his family and close friends.
