All Kidding Aside, The Rose City Comic Con April 1, 2023 Is Going To Be Awesome
Get ready, Windsor Essex! The 2023 Rose City Comic Convention hits the Caboto Club, Saturday, April 1, 2023 promising an amazing one-day-only array of fun and excitement for all ages.
The city’s premiere, family-friendly comic con and pop culture event, Rose City Comic Convention is also ultra affordable, offering more bang for a family’s entertainment buck than ever before.
“This will truly be a spectacular show that everyone can afford and enjoy,” says event promoter Michael Michalski.
He is just one of the proudly all-local team behind the show (including Tony Gray and Kevin Simone) with more than a decade of successful area comic cons among them.
The show features special guests from the worlds of TV and film — including Leilani Shiu from Star Wars’ The Mandalorian, Sarah Booth from the Amazon Prime hit, Three Pines, and Chad Rook from Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City — in addition to world class comic book artists such as Batman’s Jason Fabok, Spider-Man’s Keith Pollard, wrestling champ Rhino and almost two dozen more stars and attractions.
And, of course, it also features colorful costumes from pros and enthusiastic attendees alike, plus a Cosplay Contest with more than $2,000 in prizes.
“Children 12 and under get in absolutely free, with regular admission only $20,” says Michalski. “A portion of proceeds will also help support the Windsor-Essex County Humane Society.”
The event also offers shoppers more than 100 tables of comics, toys, collectibles, trading cards, original art and more. So be sure to get to The Caboto Club, 2175 Parent Avenue on April 1!
