Capital Power Pledges $10,000 in Matching Funds for Homeless Youth
From November 29th to December 25th, The Windsor Residence for Young Men (WRYM) runs its annual “Season of Giving” campaign in support of their Transitional Housing, Outreach, Aftercare, and Life skills programming for youth experiencing homelessness. In order to double the impact of donations, Capital Power has pledged up to $10,000 in matching funds during their Season of Giving.
“Capital Power’s investment in us is incredibly inspiring” said Jason Weinberg, Executive Director of WRYM. “It will give our donors and supporters a lot of confidence knowing that their contribution is doubled, and we cannot thank Capital Power enough for being a partner in this campaign.”
Donations to WRYM’s Season of Giving can be made online, as found online, by mail or in person at 1505 Langlois Ave, Windsor ON, N8X 4M3. Last year, during the 2021 Season of Giving campaign, Capital Power also provided $10,000 dollars in matching funds.
“We are proud to support the exceptional work being done at The Windsor Residence for Young Men. Capital Power believes it is very important to help these youth find new homes and build fulfilling lives, especially with winter coming and the cold weather setting in.”
