Biz X magazine Nov-Dec 2016
Presenting The 2016 Winners & Nominees
A NOTE FROM THE PUBLISHER
222 nominees. 24 winners. Four and a half months in the making. Plus a gala ready to honour the winners at St. Clair College Centre for the Arts. The magazine everyone has been waiting for to see learn the results has finally arrived.
It’s the “19th Annual Biz X Awards Edition!” And for 2016 we celebrate how we are “Proud To Be Canadian.”
Our theme recognizes upcoming 2017 milestones: the 150th anniversary of confederation for the entire country and right here at home, the city of Windsor’s 125th birthday. And who is more Canadian than Bob and Doug McKenzie! Photographer Rod Denis, along with help from Mirror Talent Agency set the mood for a little “hoser” fun before the awards story dives into the serious tribute of recognizing our Canadian business owners and nominees in Windsor Essex.
We hope you enjoy this issue and when you are out and “aboot” (as us Canucks say) visiting area businesses please congratulate any of our nominees that you meet. We are very proud of all of them as they truly are leaders in the business community.
Happy reading and I hope to meet you at our December 16th MiXer!
