Vendors Invited To Unleash Creativity At Canada Day Arts Fair

Canada Day is just around the corner, and the Downtown Windsor BIA is thrilled to invite vendors to join the celebrations! The DWBIA is seeking enthusiastic vendors to contribute to the festivities and offer a wide range of products and services to our community.

The 2024 Canada Day Arts Fair will be held on Monday, July 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m on University Avenue West, between Pelissier Street and Ouellette Avenue. Providing a .festive atmosphere, the event will add to the overall excitement of the day and offer memorable experiences for visitors of all ages.

The DWBIA is welcoming vendors who can offer a diverse array of products and services and contribute to the creativity and community pride on display, including but not limited to:

  • Arts and Crafts: Handmade products, artwork, jewelry, clothing, etc.
  • Food and Beverage: Prepared foods, snacks, ice cream, refreshments, etc.
  • Entertainment: Face painters, craft stations, live music, etc.

Vendors must have the necessary licenses and permits to operate in Windsor and provide their own equipment, such as tents, tables, chairs, and power sources. Additionally, vendors should be capable of accepting various payment methods, including cash, credit cards, and mobile payments.

“Our 2024 Canada Day Arts Fair is going to be an unforgettable experience and community celebration,” says Debi Croucher, Executive Director of the Downtown Windsor BIA. “In addition to a fabulous Arts Fair, celebrations will include live entertainment, face painters, stilt walkers, hands-on workshops for kids.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to watch and enjoy the vibrant Canada Day Parade taking place on Ouellette Avenue between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Featuring more than 60 spectacular floats and units, this lively procession will feature colourful floats, marching bands, cultural performances, and community groups, all coming together to celebrate the spirit of Canada. The Parade alone draws thousands of spectators to the city centre.

Vendor fees are $30 per space for non-members of the DWBIA and $25 for members. Registration is open on a first-come, first-served basis, and space is limited.
