The Canadian Cancer Society Lottery gives people the best chance to win actual cash and car prizes as the lottery contains no token prizes. Recently, Sue Dunn from Comber found this out after winning a 2018 Jaguar F-Type PLUS 10,000 in cash through the charity’s Fall Lottery.

“It was a big surprise…you just don’t expect it!” Dunn said to reporters.

This year, more than $3.4 million was raised through the Canadian Cancer Society’s Lottery. Since 2001, the charity has generated over $80.7 million in cancer research funding through its Lottery. 4.7 million of those funds have been dedicated to the Wheels of Hope community patient transportation program, the remaining supports research into all types of cancers.

The Canadian Cancer Society is a national community-based organization of volunteers whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer.
