Do Good Divas Celebrate A Night Of Style, Generosity, And Lasting Impact
The Do Good Divas are celebrating the incredible success of A Girls’ Night Out in Handbag Heaven, an evening that brought together generosity, community, and purpose in unforgettable fashion.
Thanks to the energy of nearly 400 attendees, the remarkable donors who filled the room with stunning handbags and prize packages, and the sponsors who believed in the vision, the Divas are thrilled to share that a total of $45,000 will be donated to Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex in support of the newly announced Amherstburg build.
This investment will help create affordable, permanent homeownership opportunities for local families, offering stability, dignity, and a place to truly put down roots in the communities where they already live and work.
“This night was everything the Divas stand for. It was joyful, generous, and deeply connected to making real change happen. Every handbag, every ticket, and every cheer in the room played a role in helping future homeowners move one step closer to their own front door.” – Gale Simko-Hatfield, President of the Do Good Divas
An especially meaningful moment of the evening was the cheque presentation from BK Cornerstone, longtime supporters of Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex’s build program. Their $10,000 contribution was announced during the event, adding excitement and momentum to an already powerful night and helping ensure the event’s success.
“The BK Cornerstone team believes in the hard work that Habitat for Humanity does for the community,” states Brent Klundert, President, BK Cornerstone “as it allows members of Windsor-Essex County to be lifted up in a way that they may not otherwise be able to.”
For the Do Good Divas, the evening was about far more than fundraising. It was about community showing up with heart. It was about music, laughter, dancing, and good times shared with friends. And it was about turning generosity into something tangible and lasting, as that collective joy now helps build homes and stronger futures in the neighborhoods that will soon welcome new homeowners.
The Divas extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, and supported this signature event. Together, this community is helping build not just homes, but stronger futures.
