After two lonely hearts, Frankie, a waitress, and Johnny, a short order cook take a tumble into bed on their first date, Johnny is certain he has found his soul mate. As the night unfolds they slowly begin to reveal themselves to each other cautiously pondering if this is the start of a new relationship.

Originally off-Broadway from June 2, 1987 to March 12, 1989, ‘FRANKIE and JOHNNY’ reached Broadway, Aug 8, 2002, starring Edie Falco and Stanley Tucci racking up Tony Award nominations.
