Is Your Home Router Hackable?

This week, research from the authors of the WordFence security plugin indicated that recent attacks on WordPress websites around the world have been aided by the use of compromised home internet routers.  Those interested in the story can find it on the WordFence blog.

In response to this, WordFence has created a simple utility that will check if your own home router is vulnerable to this particular hacking vulnerability.  Head over to their testing page and click on the “SCAN ME” button to run the test.  Hopefully, your router will indicate no vulnerability.  However, if it is vulnerable, there is more information on the page describing what you should do.
