New Senior Volunteers Help United Way Take Bold Action
United Way/Centraide Windsor-Essex County is pleased to announce that four new members have joined the Board of Directors. During its June annual general meeting, Tish Glenn, Eric Griggs, Charles Rosen, and Noah Tepperman were elected to the Board for a one, two, and three year term respectively. In addition to joining the Board of Directors, Eric Griggs, District Vice President of TD Canada Trust has taken on the role of 2017 Campaign Cabinet Chair.

About our new Directors
Tish Glenn, Recording Secretary CUPW Local 630, Canada Post
Tish Glenn has worked for Canada Post as a Letter Carrier for the last 14 years. She currently holds the Recording Secretary position on their Executive Local 630 Union, and is also the region’s Social Steward, Peer Trainer, Shop Steward, and is the Health & Safety Co- Chair. She also helps lead United Way’s workplace campaign within Canada Post locally.
Eric Griggs, District Vice President, TD Canada Trust Windsor-Essex
Eric Griggs, is originally from Thunder Bay and moved to the area five years ago. He presently resides in the Amherstburg community. Eric has been a business owner, has worked in the public sector and now in the private sector. Eric brings his financial management, organizational management and human resource expertise to United Way.
Charles Rosen, Managing Director HBM+, Green Shield Canada
Charles Rosen has been with Green Shield Canada (GSC) for more than 16 years. He has extensive experience in the group insurance industry, and more than 30 years of vendor-related experience in a variety of leadership positions. He is currently responsible for the overall operations and growth of the HBM+ business unit. HBM+ provides health benefits administration and adjudication services to its clients across Canada – processing more than 25M claims a year to 1.5M individuals. He brings to his role an in-depth understanding of overseeing large-scale client relationships and initiatives in the public and private sector.
Noah Tepperman, Treasurer-Family Owner, Tepperman’s Furniture and Appliance
Noah Tepperman is a Board member, Secretary/Treasurer and third-generation owner of Tepperman’s. Founded in 1925, Tepperman’s is a family-owned and operated home furnishings retailer based in Windsor, Ontario. Noah Tepperman is an active volunteer lay leader, currently serving on United Way Windsor Essex’s Campaign Cabinet, and as the chair of United Way’s Emerging Philanthropists program, a group he created in partnership with United Way in 2015. Tepperman is also the Co-Chair of the local Collective Impact Initiative to reduce poverty in Windsor-Essex County.
