ORMHA 2nd ANNUAL EVENING OF EXCELLENCE GALA

Presented by The Windsor Region of the Ontario Restaurant Hotel Motel Association and Culinary Federation Windsor Chapter, the ORMHA held their event on October 15, 2018.

Voting concluded Sept 30, 2018 and the Windsor ORHMA Board of Directors confirmed the winners last Thursday.

The winners received their award for Best of the Year 2018 at St Clair College Centre of the Arts during the Gala Evening of Excellence sponsored by Windsor ORHMA and CF Windsor Chapter.

Winners included:

  • Best Restaurant of the Year 2018 – Colasanti’s Tropical Gardens -Ruthven
  • Best New Restaurant of the Year 2018 – The Grove Brew House -Kingsville
  • Windsor Accommodation Facility of the Year 2018 – Best Western Plus – Windsor
  • Essex Kent Accommodation Facility of the Year 2018 – Quality Inn – Leamington
  • Supplier of the Year 2018 – Prime Lighting Design – Windsor
  • Life Time Achievement Award – Gerry DeLuca – Torino Pizza – Tecumseh
  • Chef of the Year 2018 – Adelina Sasti-DeBlasis – Windsor

Kimberly Jussila has been taking pictures for the last 10 years, but in the past 6 years she became more serious and created her own photography business in her spare time. She started with mainly nature and landscapes; but throughout the years she has begun enjoying not only landscapes, but portraits, family pictures, maternity shots and special events as well. Kimberly has taken many photography classes through St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario and has done numerous workshops to extend her knowledge.
