Pack-A-Purse Drive With Lifetimes On Riverside & Devonshire Retirement Residence
Lifetimes on Riverside (supporting Hiatus House) and Devonshire Retirement Residence (supporting The Welcome Centre and Street Help) need your donations by May 6, 2022 for the Pack-A-Purse Drive!
They are asking all community members, community groups – local schools, youth groups, churches, seniors centres, small businesses and our own residents, families, and staff to collect new or gently used purses, backpacks, luggage and new toiletries for local women in need.
Their goal is to collect 100 purses before May 6 and fill them with donated toiletry items. Suggested items include lip balm, face cream, slippers, socks, makeup, sunscreen, feminine hygiene products, chocolate bars, pens, colouring supplies, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush, hairbrushes, phone chargers, etc. Any donation is appreciated!
