The 53rd Annual Windsor Santa Claus Parade December 4, 2021

Be sure to bring a toy for Sparky’s Toy Drive. Windsor Firefighters will be walking the parade route collecting toys and cash donations!

The Windsor Parade Corporation is ready to hit the streets for their second Santa Claus Parade of the season this Saturday in the Heart of the City. The Parade which is presented by The Wyandotte Towne Centre BIA will be held in Traditional Format and starts at Wyandotte and Devonshire at 5:45 pm sharp.

This route has been the home of the Canada Day Parade in Windsor for many years and is an awesome back drop for the Santa Claus Parade. This parade is being broadcast live by Local Channel YourTV Windsor Leamington with the broadcast area set for the block between Hall and Moy on Wyandotte Street.

The Parade Corporation is thrilled to be able to present a traditional parade with a multitude of various floats, entertainment, and of course Santa and Mrs. Claus.

There is a great variety of entries from local business which is important to the community and gives the parade an authentic local flavour.

This will be the first parade for the Parade Corporations newly completed float the Island of Misfit toys, which showcases classical characters like Yukon Cornelius, the Train with Square Wheels and of course Charlie in the Box.
The Float has been a yearlong project and is dedicated in memory of the Corporation’s long time volunteer who passed away suddenly last year Clayton Massender.

Families are encouraged to arrive early for the parade and practice social distancing along the route, which runs Along Wyandotte from Devonshire to Alymer.

This is the second of three Santa Claus Parades for the Corporation who will be travelling on for the Essex BIA Santa Claus Parade on December 11, 2021 for their final parade of the season.
