Harrow-Colchester Chamber presents VectorBloc President Julian Bowron
On Thursday May 5th at Cooper’s Hawk Vineyards, the Harrow-Colchester Chamber of Commerce presented the second in a series of “Partners in Progress” events with keynote speaker Julian Bowron, President/Owner of Vector Praxis a multi-material architectural fabricating firm, inventor and founder of VectorBloc Corporation.
Bowron’s VectorBloc Corporation recently has joined a partnership with Harrow’s JMC Steel Group Inc. (Atlas Tube) Chairman Barry Zekelman and Amico Affiliates of Windsor ON, Owner/President Dominic Amicone formed a new company Connexio Building Systems Inc. for the use of patented VectorBloc precision, hollow structural steel (HSS) connection systems to construct off-site construction buildings.
Julian is the developer of the VectorBloc modular construction system, a tall capable, self-bracing, stackable precision volumetric solution. Julian has 30 years of experience directing architectural fabrication facilities and construction job sites around the world. He is described by Canadian Architect as “One of the emerging leaders in bridging the gap between designers and fabricators”. His deep knowledge of building information modeling (BIM), modularization and constructability has enabled him to convert challenges into solutions and patents.

Julian Bowron spoke on how innovation is key to spur growth in the Harrow business sector and development for this region. Julian’s message is clear; focus on innovation, develop system collaborations from quality local supply chain and seek global growth from a position of regional community and advocate support.
Libro Credit Union and Active Business Services also partnered with the Harrow-Colchester Chamber of Commerce and provided $500 each in loaded MasterCard for door prizes as they encourage economic growth in Southern Ontario.
Guests to the event at Cooper’s Hawk Vineyards, 1425 Iler Rd, Harrow enjoyed chef style sandwiches, salads, best of the vine cash bar and networking.
