YQG Introduces Air Canada Daily Windsor Montreal Non Stop Flights

Windsor International Airport (YQG) has announced the launch of new Air Canada Daily Windsor Montreal Non Stop Flights.

Flights are timed to provide connections between Windsor and Atlantic Canada including Saint John, Fredericton, Moncton, Halifax and St. John’s, and Windsor to Europe, including Brussels, Rome, Geneva, Barcelona, Lisbon, Paris, Lyon and Frankfurt, as well as Casablanca, Morocco.

The daily Montreal-Windsor flights will commence July 2, 2018 and will be operated by Air Canada Express Jazz using the 50-seat Bombardier CRJ jet.

The Montreal-Windsor route is the first daily year-round passenger service from Windsor to a destination other than Toronto, as well as the first daily year-round service from Windsor with scheduled jet service. The new non-stops flights to Montreal along with the additional Air Canada connections that will now be available will be a great advantage for both Windsor’s business and leisure travelers.”  Drew Dilkens, Windsor Mayor, Chair of YQG Board

“The addition of flights to London and Windsor strengthens Montreal’s position as an international hub by facilitating the movement of travelers from this region to destinations in Europe or Asia,” said Philippe Rainville, President and Chief Executive Officer of Aéroports de Montréal. Not only is it contributing to the phenomenal growth of passenger traffic at Montréal-Trudeau, it is also enabling us to further develop our air service and increase the frequency of interesting flights.”
