AFP CANADA SOUTH CHAPTER ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Canada South Chapter held their annual general meeting swearing in a new slate of directors and providing a year in review for their membership.

The Board has been hard at work since June 2015 to increase awareness of the organization and its purpose locally, to increase their membership and provide meaningful professional development and networking opportunities.

Their hard work did not go unnoticed at the National level, as the Chapter received three awards at the AFP International Conference held in Boston, MA in March. The awards included a Ten Star GOLD designation, Highest Growth award, and the Friends of Diversity award. These awards are given out to chapters across the world that achieve goals that align with key objectives within the strategic plan.
