Biz X Was There – Fashion, Fun, Great Cause For The Kidney Foundation Celebrity Men’s Fashion Event
Entering its second year, this event certainly made its mark on the ladies. The tagline — “Join us for a night of fun, fashion and over-the-top entertainment” — was true as this was not your typical fashion show! Models had tons of fun when they walked down the runway passing out roses, giving hugs and even toothbrushes from the dentist and lots of high fives!
The following local community and corporate leaders strut down the catwalk: Dr. Amit Bagga, Dr. Wayne Callaghan, Matt Dunlop, TJ Laramie, Dr. David Mady, Vern Myslichuk, Rakesh Naidu, Dr. Vince Ruisi, Shawn Talbot and Dr. Phil Tremblay.
The fashion show was preceded by hors d’oeuvres by Koolini Italian Eatery and a cocktail reception, silent auction, raffle prizes. Guests also enjoyed posing for some photos in the Biz X Photo Booth — courtesy of DDM.
Rhys Trenhaile, a Windsorite who has made it big with a recurring role on ABC’s Designated Survivor TV show was also present. Guests had the opportunity to bid on sitting with him for the fashion show, with professional photos after and an appearance in the July/August edition of Biz X magazine. See the lucky bidder in the photos here.
100.7 Cool FM’s Colin Botten and actress Michelle Mainwaring emceed the event. Michelle had the crowd in stitches swooning over all the fellas!
The event was proudly supported by 100.7 Cool FM, Aphria, Robert and Deborah Armitage, Biz X magazine, Collins Formal Wear, Connexio Building Systems Inc., Corbett Productions, Milestone Studios, Stars Men’s Shops and Water’s Edge Event Centre.
