TWEPI 2024 Holiday Gift Guide Is Out

Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island is kicking off the countdown to the holidays with its 6th Annual Holiday Gift Guide, the region’s largest and most robust guide to holiday shopping and supporting local for the holiday season, in partnership with the Windsor Essex Small Business & Entrepreneurship Centre.

Launched at yqgholidays.ca, the Holiday Gift Guide features 32 pages packed with 300+ artisans, makers, retail locations, small businesses and events to get everyone in the festive mood!

“We are excited to launch the sixth edition of the Holiday Gift Guide, and start the holiday planning early for locals and visitors alike while having the opportunity to showcase unique businesses, artisans and events in a significant way. Each year we continue to see growth in not only the partners profiled in the guide, but also the engagement and interest from the public looking for more ways to support local during the holiday season. Head to yqgholidays.ca for all the information you need on the holiday season – not only gifts and events but also locally-sourced recipes, cocktail inspiration, wine pairings and more. It’s a one-stop-shop for everything you need to support local this season.” – Gordon Orr, CEO of Tourism Windsor Essex

This year’s guide already hit mailboxes in early November. Over 75k print editions of the guide were distributed through Canada Post direct to Windsor Essex residents, plus an additional 5k+ will be distributed through retail locations and at local events.

There is also an easy-to-read version of the guide available by clicking here. Print copies can also be picked up at the Tourism Windsor Essex offices located at 98 Chatham Street East in downtown Windsor while supplies last.

To encourage engagement in the guide we have also launched the ‘50 Days of Giveaways’ where readers will have the chance to win 1-of-57 daily prizes through December 20, 2024. Users are encouraged to head over to yqgholidays.ca every day to find the feature gift of the day and find the hidden icon of the day to enter!

Orr adds: “We thank the Windsor-Essex Small Business and Entrepreneurship Centre for their continued support on this support local campaign. This year’s guide profiles 65+ of their partners, and is a win-win when we look at more ways to profile the entrepreneurs and small businesses that make our region so vibrant.”

In addition to the shopping ideas, yqgholidays.ca also features our Holiday Event Guide profiling festivals, concerts, parades and more happening in the region to spread festive cheer. New this year is the Holiday Light Pass which will incentivize users to visit the four regional light festivals and the chance to win a $500 Devonshire Mall shopping spree.
